Cotton - William Henry Harrison - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

William Henry Harrison COTTON, 76 died at 8:10 p.m. Sunday at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville.  Mr. Cotton was the son of Isaac and Mary Ann Keller Cotten (sic) born Jan 18, 1873 at Grange Corner.  He wasmarried to Martha Jane Keller July 9, 1895 at Danville, Ill. He was a life long resident of Montgomery County, living in and around Waveland for 48 years.  Six children were born to the couple, Mrs. Leonard Haskett, Wesley Cotton of Waveland; Francis and Austin of Crawfordsville; and William of Linden and Clifford of Alamo.  Mrs. Cotten survives along with her children, 31 grandchildren and 11 greats.  The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Freedom Baptist Church where Mr. Cotten was a faithful and active member.  Rev. CW Moore, pastor of the church officiated at the services and interment in the adjoining cemetery. -- typed by kbz
