Darlington, Aug 3 -- After an illness which began last spring as a result of a fall, Mrs. Jennie Cox, widow of the late Dr. E.H. Cox, of this place, died Monday morning at two-forty five at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Willard Craig. Dr. Cox was formerly deputy sheriff of the county.
Born at Frankfort, Mrs. Cox spent the most of her life here, and she was known all through this vicinity. Shortly after her marriage to Dr. Cox, the couple lived for a time at Crawfordsville. She was a prominent member of the Methodist Church.
The funderal services will be held on Wednesday morning at ten at the Methodist church here, Rev. W. Nicely being in charge. Interment will be in the IOOF [Independent Order of Odd Fellows] cemetary. -- typed by kbz
