Rockville, Ind – Archie Lamar Cooper, 50, died at noon Friday in the Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. He was a member of the Gospel Church.  He is survived by the widow, Aurie; six sons: Jerry, Crawfordsville, Richard, Sikeston, Mo; Paul, US Navy; Don Miles, Attica; Willard Brown, Sharpsville and Grover Brown, US Air Force; 7 daughters: Mrs. Sharon James and Mrs. Sheetra Cooper, both of Rockville; Mrs. Sandra Brand, Austell, GA; Mrs. Edna Martin, Maple Plain, Minn; Mrs. Sadie Shrout, New Castle and Mrs. Sherlie Shaver and Mrs. Stella Gaddis both of Logansport; three brothers, Billie, Terre Haute; Manual and Adelbert, both of Indianapolis; four sisters, Mrs. Delores Funk, Greencastle; Mrs. Lorine Rhodes, Indianapolis; Mrs. Frances Danigan, Washington, Ind and Mrs. Margrette Meed, Baltimore, Md and several grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Barnes Mortuary with the Rev. Howard Nussbaum officiating. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Saturday. – kbz
