WAYNETOWN – Carl Cooper, a retired R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co., employe, died at his home here Tuesday morning after an illness of a year. He was 69. He was born Nov. 17, 1895, at Maysville, Ky. He was married Nov. 17, 1916 to Vera Bunnell. He was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church. Upon graduation from Waynetown High School, he assisted his father in the grocery business and then worked for the R. R. Donneley & Sons Co. until his retirement in 1960. For many years he worked in the Journal-Review circulation department. Survivors include his wife. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Servies Funeral Home with Rev. Morris Finch officiating. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday. – jlr
