Mr. and Mrs. Will Moore and Bobbie, Mrs. Raymond Moore and Mrs. Margaret Kirshman went to Lebanon on Wednesday to attend the funeral of Fred COOPER who died on Monday following an acute attack on the previous Sunday week. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery after services conducted by Rev. Carl H. Bennett and the Red Men. Mr. Cooper was the son of James and Sally Butler Cooper and was born in Waveland where Marshall Brooks lives on West Green Street. His early life was spent in Waveland where he married Laura Scott Aug 11, 1893. She survives him with two brothers, Albert of Brazil and George of Indianapolis and a foster daughter, Mrs. Mary Nicholson O'Day of Frankfort. After going to Lebanon he was head sawyer int he Fuller Mill for 17 years. He was a member of the Christian Church, Red Men and Haymakers. - kbz
