After a three years' illness of complications, Mrs. Jennie Cooper age 77 of Waynetown died Friday afternoon at the Graves Nursing Home in Crawfordsville. The deceased was well known in Hillsboro. Mrs .Cooper was born Jan 23, 1871 at Fortville, the daughter of James and Frances Marshall Taylor. On Feb 20, 1895 she was married to James Cooper in Kentucky who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Waynetown. Surviving are a son, Carl of Waynetown; three brothers, Jas. Taylor of Lafayette; Charles Taylor of New Richmond and Thomas Taylor, of Hillsboro. Funeral service was held from the Waynetown Methodist Church Sunday afternoon with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine in charge. Waynetown, May 14 - Mrs. Jennie Cooper, 77, Waynetown resident, died Friday afternoon at 1:40 o'clock at the Graves Nursing Home in Crawfordsville where she had been a patient for several months. She had been in ill health three years and death was attributed to complications. Mrs. Cooper was born Jan 23, 1871 at Fortvville, daughter of James and Frances Marshall Taylor. She was married to James Cooper Feb 20, 1895 in Kentucky. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Waynetown. Surviving are a son, Carl of Waynetown; three brothers, James Taylor of Lafayette; Charles Taylor of New Richmond and Thomas Taylor of HIllsboro. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o['clock from the Methodist Church with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine in charge. The body will lie in state at the church for an hour preceding the services. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic cemetery.

She was married to James Cooper Feb 20, 1895 in KY. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Waynetown. Surviving are a son Carl of Waynetown, 3 brothers, James of Lafayette, Charles of New Richmond and Thomas Taylor of Hillsboro. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in Methodist Church after her body had lain in state an hour. Instrumental music was played by Mrs. Gerrold Hudson and Rev. Guy E. Tremaine officiated. The pallbearers who also served as flower bearers were: Billy Collings, Walter Raisor, Clifford Swank, MJ Fruits, RD Bible and EC Bennett of Crawfordsville. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery.
