Mrs. Bertha May (Welch) Cope, 70 of 2050 N. Lynhurst died Tuesday at Methodist Hospital in the capital city. She was a native of Parkersburg. Mrs. Cope had made her home in Indianapolis the lat 46 years. She was a hosuewife and member of the West Side Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include the husband, William S. Cope, three sons, Charles D. and Noble G. of Indianapolis, and David H of California; a daughter, Mrs. Viola Frodge of Carmel; a sister, Mrs. Marie Dean of Cranford, NJ; 10 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the West Side Church of the Nazarene in Indianapolis. Burial in Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville where graveside rites will be at 3:45 p.m. Friday.
