Martha Snow Correll, 78, 203 E. College St., died at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Culver Hospital. She had been in failing health for the last several months and was taken to the hospital Thursday. Mrs. Correll was a daughter of Henry and Mary M. Coffing Petro and was born Sept. 6, 1881, in Hillsboro. She married Charles Correll, who preceded her in death in 1938. For many years Mr. Correll operated a garage on West Market Street. Mrs. Correll was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and the Athens Chapter of OES. Survivors include a sister. Mrs. Fred Utterback of Crawfordsville; a nephew, Thomas Utterback, also of this city, and two nieces, Mrs. Gretchen Minnich of Veedersburg and Mrs. Dorothy Meyer of Bloomington. Funeral services are set for 2 p. m. Monday at the Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Guy E. Tremaine officiating and burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday. – jlr
