THURMAN COSTELLO

JAMESTOWN – Thurman D. Costello, 49, of Jamestown, died at 1 p.m. Monday. He was a machinist at O’Roark’s Manufacturing Co. in Brownsburg. He was a World War II veteran and attended schools in Woodbury, Ky. Born June 13, 1927, he was a son of Thurman and Lossie Hugent Costello of Woodbury. He married Dovie J. Willis in 1956 in Kentucky. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Judy Atkins of Morgantown, Ky.; three sons, Tony of Morgantown and Ricky and Robert, both at home; three brothers, James of Brownsburg and Bill and Wayne, both of Morgantown; three sisters, Mrs. Joyce Hembree of Lizton and Mrs. Hazel Wilson and Mrs. Bessie Garner, both of Bowling Green, Ky.; and a granddaughter. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Dwight Smith Funeral Home at Morgantown. Burial will be in Little Muddy Cemetery at Morgantown. Friends may call at Walker Funeral Home at Jamestown until 9 p.m. today. – jlr
