Mrs. Mary Couger, 63 wife of Otis Couger, Montgomery County farmer, died Saturday in her home, southeast of Linnsburg. She had been an invalid since suffering a spinal injury in an auto accident almost six years ago. A native of Montgomery County, Mrs. Couger was born June 11, 1894, the daughter of John I. and Nancy E Gilliland Vancleave. She married Otis Couger Dec. 24, 1917. She was a member of the Mt. Zion EUB Church. Surviving are the husband; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Surface of Crawfordsville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday in the Hunt and Son Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Rev. Harry H. Karg, pastor of the Mt. Zion Church will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home.
