A.L. (Dr) Courtney a resident of Waveland for over 60 years died Tuesday Aug 3, at 7:00 p.m. at the Richmond home where he had been living for the past 4 or 5 years. This information was obtained from a message to Arthur Jarvis and the cause of his death is not known. The funeral will be held Thursday Aug 5 at 1:30 p.m. Evansville, Ind and burial will take place there. Mr. Courtney is an uncle of Willard and Arthur Jarvis. - kbz
