Franklin, Tenn Nov 29 – Mrs. Elizabeth Graham Courtney died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.O. Merrill, Thursday of pneumonia, aged 63 years. She lived in Memphis and came several weeks ago for a visit to her daughter here. While her health had not been good for several months, her death was unexpected and comes as a shock to her family and friends here. She was born in Indiana but her husband, John R. Courtney who died a number of years ago was from this place. Mrs. Courtney was a woman of many loveable traits of character and made sincere friends of all with whom she was associated. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. JO Merrill of Franklin and Miss Madge Courtney of Memphis; two sons, Robert Graham of Columbus, O and Edward C. Graham of Memphis; also one brother, Lew Graham, of Chicago and two sisters of Seattle, Washington. - kbz
