Darlington - Miss Alta M. Cox, 78, of Darlington died Wednesday in Carman Nursing Home, Crawfordsville where she had been a patient 18 months. She was a member of Potato Creek Church and Darlington United Methodist.
Surviving are a brother, Harold Cox of Thorntown and three sisters, Mrs. Josie Mahoy of Lafayette, Mrs. Mary O. Cook of Thorntown and Mrs. Leila Todd of Crawfordsville.

Cox, Miss Alta M - Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Bright & Burkhart Funeral Home, Darlington. Service there 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. R. Dale Waltz officiating. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Darlington. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
