Cox - Benton - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Darlington, Jan 30 - Benton Cox of Darlington died this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock in the Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. He entered the hospital last Thursday. He was a native of Montgomery County having been born there Oct 29, 1873. In October 1893 he married Miss Bertha Clark of Rossville. He was a member of the  Methodist Church in Darlington. Surviving are the widow and four daughters: Mrs. Charles Marshall and Miss Margaret Cox of Darlington; Mrs. Louise Francis and Mrs. OM McCloud of Crawfordsville; four sons Kenneth of Darlington and Cecil, Keith and Alex at home; one brother, Byron of Darlington and two sisters, Mrs. High Puigh of Leiters Ford and Mrs. Walter Burgin of Kokomo.  Funeral services will be Friday afternoon in the Darlington Methodist Church. The Rev. Miller will officiate. Burial in the Odd Fellows cemetery - kbz
