LEBANON - Guy A. Cox, 88, of Rt. 4, Lebanon a farmer most of his life in Boone County and for 20 years a dealer in real estate, died at 11 a.m. Monday in Oak Park Man- or Nursing Home here. He had been in declining health the last year and a half. A son of Albert and Emma Kiser Cox, he was born in this county Dec. 9, 1888. He was wed in 1912 to Ressa Creasy, who died Feb. 16, 1930. In September, 1955, he was married to Mable Lamp. She died July 15, 1969. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Francis Rodgers of Rt. 4, Lebanon; two grandsons, Fred and Larry Rodgers, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Dennis Houser, and six great-grandchildren. A son, Edgar, three brothers and four sisters are deceased. Mr. Cox was a member of and active in Pleasant View Christian Church as long as health permitted and at the L time of his death was a deacon emeritus. He was for many years a director of the Pleasant View Cemetery Association. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am. Thursday at Pleasant View Church with Rev. Raymond Duff the minis- ter and burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home in Lebanon after 7 p.m. Tuesday. -- typed by Chris M.
