Lora W. Cox died Oct 3, 1899 at her home in Donaldson, Ark was born in Darlington Ind Aug 12, 1885. She was the daughter of WJ and VJ Cox. She leaves a mother, two brothers, a grandmother, uncles and aunts and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Lora was a loving daughter, a kind sister. She was loved by all who knew her. - kbz

Donaldson, Hot Springs County, Ark., Oct. 4, 1899—Lora W. Cox was born in Darlington, Ind., August 12, 1885, and has many friends in Montgomery County who will be pained to learn of her untimely death. She was sick but a few days, her affliction being spinal meningitis. Death came to her very sudden and unexpected to her bereaved ones at home and to her many friends. She was so kind and affectionate that she was loved by all who met her. The funeral was attended by a large number of people. Although she had been here but a short time, it is said that hers was one of the largest funerals that ever went to the Ouachita Cemetery. -s
