Rockville, May 31 – Thomas A. Cox, 74, died Tuesday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed Rowe of Rockville. Mr. Cox was born in Montgomery County and spent the greater part of his life in Montgomery, Fountain and Parke counties. Surviving are the widow, two sons, Earl of Stone Bluff, Ind and Jim of Benton Harvor, Mich; seven daughters, Mrs. Rowe; Mrs. William Earl of near Marshall; Mrs. LF Sines of Jonesboro; Mrs. Arthur Carnine of near Hollandsburg; Mrs. VA Garkley and Mrs. William Burdine of Indianapolis and Mrs. Ira Firestone of Fort Wayne; one brother, John Cox of Hollandsburg and one sister, Mrs. Perry Massey of Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of Dr. and Mrs. BH Ferguson. Burial will be made in the Thomas cemetery east of Hollandsburg. – kbz
