June Coyle, 89, died Thursday in his home at Crawfordsville after being in poor health the past 10 years. Mr. Coyle lived at Crawfordsville for one year, moving here from Bowers where he had resided 45 years. He had operated dairy farm in the Bowers area. Prior to moving to Bowers he worked at a paper mill for 10 years at Indianapolis. He was a member of the Darlington American Legion. He had served with the US Army during WWI. He attended schools in Kentucky. Born June 3, 1890, he was a son of Isaac and Sophia Mitchell Coyle. He was married to Faye Pitman on July 2, 1931. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Isaac of Phoenix, AZ; three daughters, Betty Rightsell of Crawfordsville; Helen Hester of Thayer, Mo and Shirley Dowell of Scopio, two brothers, Mitchell of Baltimore, Md; and John of Unionville; a sister, Florence Coyle of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Five brothers and a sister are deceased. Arrangements are pending at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home at Thorntown. -- Services for June Coyle, 89, of Crawfordsville will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, Thorntown. The Rev. Richard Baker will officiate. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
