Linden, Feb 13 – James S. Coyner, 77, died suddenly Sunday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Paul Jones here where he had been making his home for the past month. Born October 4, 1855, west of Colfax, he was the son of JD and Emily Coyner. On November 29, 1881, he was married to Ella M. Hughes, who preceded him in death several years ago. Since her death, Mr. Coyner has been making his home with his children. Besides the daughter, at whose home he died he also leaves another daughter, Mrs. Alta Michael of Crawfordsville; three sons, Herschel of Mishawaka; Roy of Clarks Hill and Azelee of Indianapolis; also a sister, Mrs. Mary Peterson of Clarks Hill and four grandchildren.
