"Gravelly Run" -- Word has been received here of the sickness of Dr. Wm. Craig of Aledo, Ill. His wife died suddenly a few days ago and in a few hours after her death he suffered a paralytic stroke which is expected to result fatally.

Dr. Wm D. Craig, who died recently at Aledo, Ill., was an uncle of Mrs. H. S. Johnson, of this place, and was born and raised in this neighborhood, being known at that time as one of the community’s best and brightest young men. It was in his home that for years Lemuel and Clara Butler, well known to Montgomery County people lived, and the former now has charge of the doctor’s Palace drug store, the latter the charge of the home.
