Lonnie M. Cunningham, 89 a resident of Wallace for the past 40 years died at 8:30 p. m. Sunday, Feb 10, 1974 at Lake View Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient 4 days. Born June 16, 1884 in Jackson Twp Fountain County, he was the son of Jonathan and Mary Day Cunningham. He was married to Alice Nolan who died in 1943. He later was married to Lucille Young of Covington, who survives. Mr. Cuningham had been a carpenter and sheep shearer. He was a member of the Wolfe Creek Community Church and had helped build the present church structure. Other suvivors include a son, Horace "Jim" of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Lois MIller of Veedersburg; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dorothy Cunningham of near Wallace; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles in 1969; a daughter Fern in 1930 and a grandson, Merle in 1958. Services will be at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown. The Rev. John Foxowrhty will officate. Burial will be in Wolfe Creek Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 2 p. m. Tuesday.
