William Thomas Crady, 80, Montgomery County farmer died at Culver Hospital at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Mr. Crady, who resided near Darlington had been in failing health for two years and seriously ill for the the past six weeks.

He was born March 24, 171 in LaRue County, KY the son of John D. and Retta Ann Alvey Crady.  He was married April 16, 1906 to Zora Ann SNyder at New RIchmond.  Mr. Crady was a member of the First Christian Church. He had spent all of his married life in this county.

The survivors include the wife; a daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and Lawrence Vannice of near Darlington; two nieces, Mrs. Fenton Moore and Mrs. Henry Hoefil, both of St. Louis; a nephew, Earl Crady of Neelyville, MO and several cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Oliver. Funeral services will be held at the Proffitt & Sons FUneral Home with burial in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Monday
