Crawfordsville – Freida F. Crane, 77, a homemaker at 1322 E. Main died at 1 p.m. Sunday Dec 5 at AMI Culver Union Hospital. Born Aug 14, 1916 in Montgomery County she graduated from CHS in 1934. Mrs. Crane was a member of First Baptist Church. She married Tom Crane in paris, Ill on Sept 8, 1934. He survives. Also surviving are four sons, John Crane and David Crane, both of Crawfordsville; Fred Crane of Lebanon and Tom Crane of plainfield; six daughters, Judy Kreighbaum of Waveland; Kay Fisher and Peggy Cornett, both of Crawfordsville; Susan Hayes of Westville; Marylyn Cook of Romney and Sally Haes of North Judson and a sister, Alice McCormick of Crawfordsville. - kbz
