A. B. Crawford was born in Pennsylvania, March 28, 1817, and a few years later came to Indiana and lived near Shannondale for several years. He then moved to Idaho and later back to Indiana and settled at New Ross, where he spent his declining days. He died at his home on north Green street, at 9 p. m., Dec. 19, 1901 The funeral services were held at the Christian church at 1:30 p. m., Saturday, Dec. 21, and interment was at the Odd Fellows' cemetery, the local lodge of Odd Fellows officiating. – thanks to Kim H
