ROACHDALE – Mrs. Jean Heighway Crosby, 72, of Roachdale, a member of the Roachdale Presbyterian Church, died today in an Indianapolis hospital. She was a member of Roachdale Philomath Club, Pi Beta Phi sorority at Indiana University and Delta Theta Tau sorority. She attended Indiana University and Ward-Belmont College at Nashville, Tenn. Born Dec. 4, 1905, at Ladoga, she was the daughter of Dr. G. and Charlotte Fullen Heighway. She was married March 27, 1926, to Robert Crosby. He survives. Other survivors are two sons, John E. and James R. of Roachdale; a sister, Julia Heighway of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Roachdale Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Wallace McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call at Perkins Funeral Home here after 4 p.m. Thursday. – jlr
