Mrs. Nancy
Jane Cross wife of (Andrew) Bruce Cross, died at her home in Ladoga early
Monday morning, Nov 22, following an extended illness. Mrs. Cross was born in
Montgomery County, daughter of Jacob and Nancy Zimmerman Feb 13, 1871. She was
married to Bruce Cross Dec 27, 1892.
Mrs. Cross is survived by the husband and five children: Ethel, Irvin,
Russell Cross and Mrs. John McNulty of Ladoga, and Mrs. John M. Bain of
Indianapolis; three brothers and one sister, George Zimmerman of Ladoga,
Charles Zimmerman of Jamestown, Jacob Zimmerman of Danville and Mrs. Emmaline
Thomas of Indianapolis and 10 grandchildren. Mrs. Cross was a member of the
Nazarene Church and the funeral service will be in charge of Rev. Cline Burton,
pastor of the church at the home Thursday afternoon at 2:00. Burial will be in
the Stoner cemetery southeast of Ladoga. Friends may call at the home any time.
