Charles P. Crow who has been living on the John Todd farm northeast of Browns Valley died in his car east of town on No. 47 near the former LaFollette filling station on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Crow had been suffering from heart trouble. In the morning he helped in ringing some hogs and became very much fatigued. His people wanted to call the doctor but he said he would go see him. He wanted to drive down alone but his wife and daughter came with him. After treatment and caution to him against over exertion they started home and reached the point mentioned when he became very ill and died before they could return to town. He was the son of John and Amanda Crow and was born near Bainbridge July 22, 1886. He married Bessie Lenore Delaney in August 1908. She survives him with two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Redden of Browns Valley and Maxine at home. Funeral services on Monday afternoon at the Browns Valley Baptist Church were in charge of Rev. Raymond Skelton. Burial at Indian Creek Cemetery. -- kbz
