Darlington, Feb 10 - Daniel Crowder, Civil War Veteran and well known resident of the Darlington community, passed away at his home here Sunday night following a few weeks' illness. Mr. Crowder died at 10:30 o'clock after sustaining two paralytic strokes recently. Mr. Crwoder was 84 years of age. He served throughout the duration of the war. Those who survive him are his iwfe and 3 sons: Casper of Darlington; William of Crawfordsville and Seth who resides on a farm near Darlington. The funeral arrangements have not been completed. - kbz
