Eston R. Crowder, 52 of Bloomingdale IN Route. died at 12:50 pm. Tuesday, April 12, 1960 at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville where he was admitted earlier in the day. Born in Marshall Indiana 9-26-1907 he was the son of Ned and Lillie Mae Delp Crowder. He was married to Dorene Newnum who survives. Also surviving are six daughters; Mrs. Betty Snyder, Elkhart; Mrs. Joan Bruner, Newtown; Mrs Galena Groetsch St. Paul, MN; Mrs. Margaret Martz Crawfordsville; Mrs. Clara Crane, Danville, Il; and Sandra K. at home. Other survivors include two sons, Rex Lee Crowder of Alexandria, LA; Max and Wayne at home; his mother of Rockville; two brothers, Archie Harold Crowder, Santa Monica, Cal; Everett, Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. leatha Irene Norman, Stone Bluff; and Mrs. Georgiana Brower of Santa Monica, Cal; and 10 grandchildren. Mr. Crowder was preceded in death by two sons. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday at Woodrow Funeral home with Rev. Jasper Patterson oficiating. Burial in Memory Garden, Rockville.

Kingman - Eston R. Crowder, 52, a farmer in the Bloomingdale community most of his life died Tuesday afternoon in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where he was admitted as a patient earlier in the day. Born Sept 26, 1907, at Marshall, Mr Crowder was the son of Ned and Lilly Delp Crowder. He married Dorene Newnum, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, Lee Crowder of Alexandria, LA; and Max and Wayne, both at home; a daughter, Sandra at home; the mother, who lives in Rockville; 10 grandchildren and several other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman. Burial in Memory Garden near Rockville. Jasper Patterson will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
