Darlington April 24 – William A. Crumm, 77, died at the family home here at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, following a two weeks’ illness from heart disease and influenza. He was a son of Zacharia and Marie Crumm born in Montgomery County Indiana where his entire life was spent. His marriage to Lavina E. Peterson took place on Jan 13, 1876. Mr. Crumm was a member of the K of P. Lodge. The widow and following children survive: Mrs. LW Vanice, Darlington; Mrs. AW Booher, Cerro Gordo, Ill; Floyd Crumm, Mace, Ind and Clarence Crumm, of Darlington. Several grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Congregational Christian Church with interment in the Odd Fellows cemetery. – kbz
