E. Jack Cunningham, 51, of 501 Curtis Street, superindent of Crawford Industries, Inc died suddenly of a heart attak at 1:50 p.m. Friday at Lake Mansfield. The Cunninghams were preparing to return after two weeks of vacationin at the lake when the fatal seizure occurred while he was seated in their car. A native of Crawfordsville, Mr. Cunningham was born Aug 5, 1915 to Herbert & Nellie Swindler Cunningham. He was married here in 1934 to Vivian L. Weliever. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and of the Crawfordsville Aerie Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Darlington Masonic Lodge, Mr. Cunningham a director of the loca l Aerie and a district Eagles director, served as worthy president of the Aerie in 1962-63. A well-known musician, he played and directed a dance band since high school days. He was a 1932 graduate of CHS. Mr. Cunningham was superintendent of Crawford Indisturies since beginning of the plant on Lane Avenue. Surviving are his wife; the mother of this city; a son, Jack L. Cunningham, and two daughters, Mrs. Jak Clements and Mrs. Mary Ellen Carver all of Crawfordsville; three brothers, Harley of Redondo Beach, Calif; and Fred & Ned of this city; a sister, Mrs. Rodney Stout of near Crawfordsville and 9 granddaughters and a grandson. Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home where friends may call after 5 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Keith Carlisle will officiate with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, Darlington. Eagles Lodge members will conduct rites at the funeral home at 8 p.m. saturday while Darlington Masons will conduct graveside rites Sunday afternoon.

Jack Cunningham, 51, Crawfordsville, superintendent of the Crawford Industries Inc. plant here, will be held 2:30 p.m. today in the Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Darlington. Mr. Cunningham died Friday while on vacation at Mansfield Reservoir near Rockville. He had been director of a dance band in this area. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge and the Eagles Lodge. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Vivian L. Cunningham; a son, two daughters, three brothers, a sister and 10 grandchildren. - - Funeral services for E. Jack Cunningham were held Sunday afternoon in the Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Carlile officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery at Darlington. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Dave Lewis, Claude Lemon, Clyde Edwards, Kenneth Gosnell, Thomas Hall, Harold Holman, Gerald Hegler, Charles Devitt, Charles Burget, and Theron Ross, past presidents of the Eagles Lodge. Serving as active pallbearers were William Weliver, Edwin Cline, Alan Ragsdale, Charles Utterback, Donald Holman, and Houston Sering. Selections were played on the organ by James Cunningham. Eagles services were held Saturday evening at the Funeral Home, and Masonic Services were held at the grave.
