Robert V. Cunningham, 51, a former resident of Çrawfordsville and R. R. Donnelley & Sons employee, died Saturday at his home in San Jose, Calif. He recently had undergone heart surgery. Mr. Cunningham also was a former resident of Lafayette and an employee there of The Journal & Courier. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine (Merrell) Cunningham; two broth- ers, Hubert “Red” and Claude Cunningham, and his parents, Babe and Jennie Cunningham. Surviving are his wife Ingrid; two sons, Mark and Steven; a daughter, Janet Perna, and two granddaughters, all of San Jose; a sister, Miss Janice Cunningham of Crawfordsville, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oak Hill Funeral Home in San Jose with burial in California. - typed by Chris M.
