WALTER CUNNINGHAM

Walter Cunningham, former Crawfordsville resident, died Turdsay in Veterans Hospital at Hot Springs, Ark. He and his wife, Violet, had made their home in Hot Springs the past two years. Mr. Cunningham was born in Crawfordsville and made his home there until after World War I. A charter member and one of the organizers of Byron Cox Post 72 of the American Legion, he served with the U. S. Army during World War I. Survivors in addition to his wife include a half-sister, Rose Atkinson; an aunt, Edith Burke; and an uncle, “Babe” Cunningham, all of Crawfordsville. Funeral services and burial are set for Saturday at Brookville, Ohio.
