Griff O. Curl, 87, Route 1, Owensville, died on Wednesday morning in the Owensville Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness. He was on Nov 25, 1888 in Crawford County. Curl was a member of the Maumee General Baptist Church, Owensville. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Garrett of Salem, Oregon and Miss Jean Curl of Kansas City; two sons, Encil Curl of Waynetown and Kenneth Curl of Owensville; one sister, Mrs. Faye Grubb of Mount Carmel; 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. The Rev. Wendell Allen and Rev. Harry Barr will conduct the 2 p.m. Friday services at the Maumee Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Thursday at Holder Funeral Home.
