Timothy Fell, aged 80, a native of Ireland but a resident of this County for more than a half a century, died at his home on W. Market St. about 3 Sunday afternoon. Paralysis of the throat and complications caused the demise of the age d man. He has been in a feeble condition for a long time and although he was down town Sat. afternoon he came only to visit a physician and immediately returned in a cab to his home. Mr. Fell was born in Ireland, March 12, 1883 (sic). At the age of sixteen years he came to this country and then shortly after married to Miss Nancy O'Connell, at Marion, Ohio. In 1866 they came to Montgomery County. They resided on a farm near this city for some time but for the past 45 years have been living in this city. Seven daughters and three sons survive. The daughters are Mrs. John Clark, Misses Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth, Grace, Josephine, Nell all of this city. Will Fell, of this city of the hardware firm of Fell & Lovatt and Timothy of Indianapolis and John of San Antonio, Tx are the sons. Mr. Fell was a man of remarkable energy and endurance. His health was almost perfect for all the years of his life until he recently became victim of these attacks due to a worn out heart, coupled with hardening of the arteries. Not at any time in his life was the deceased confined to his bed for even half a day until Sunday when his final summons came. The funeral will occur at St. Bernard's Church at 9 on Tuesday morning. - kbz

Funeral services for Timothy Fell, former resident of this city, who died in Indianapolis Friday, were held from St. Bernard's Church here at nine this morning in charge of Rev. TM Conroy. The service was attended by a large number. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. The pall bearers were John Maloney, Neal Mahorney, William Purdue, John Porter, Jere Casey and Bernard Price - kbz

Mr. Michael O’Connell and Mrs. John Sweeney left this morning for Crawfordsville, Indiana to attend the funeral of Mr. O’Connell’s brother-in-law, Mr. Timothy Fell who died of the infirmities of age at Crawfordsville Sunday morning at 2 o’clock. He was about 80 years of age and a former resident of Marion. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning and the remains interred in the Catholic Cemetery at Crawfordsville. The deceased was a veteran of the Civil War and resided here when a young man.  He was married to Miss Nancy O’Connell of Marion who with seven daughters and three sons survive him.  Mr. O’Connell and Mrs. Sweeney are brother and niece of Mrs. Fell.
