Waveland - Orville Leston Hall, 88, died at 9:15 p.m. Thursday at the Indiana Soldiers Home Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks. He was a resident of the home. Born May 4, 1892, in jackson County, he was a son of James and Maggie George Hall. He was married Sept 15, 1919 to Zenia Arterburn. They were married at Crawfordsville. Mr. Hall attended school iN Washington County. He wa a member of Freedom Baptist Church and a retired PA RR employee. He was a veteran of WWI. Surviving are a brother, George of Scottsburg; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, an infant son, an infant daughter and a stepson. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Machledt & Servies Funeral Home at Waveland Rev. Grover DeNeal will officiate. Burial will be in the Freedom Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. -- kbz
