Doris L. Newlin, 70, Crawfordsville, died 11:50 a.m. Thursday in her residence. Mrs. Newlin was a homemaker and had attended Crawfordsville High School. She was born Feb. 8, 1933, at Crawfordsville, to Leo and Dollie Rogers Bundy. She married Thomas F. Newlin on Aug. 21, 1951, at Crawfordsville. He died Oct. 26, 1996. Survivors include a daughter, Dolly Everett, Crawfordsville, and a sister, Betty Smith, Darlington. Two brothers and two sisters are deceased. Graveside services are scheduled 10 a.m. Saturday in Oak Hill Cemetery South, with the Rev. David Keesee officiating. There will be no calling. Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to a hospice or charity of the donor's choice.
