Mrs. Elizabeth C. Nichols, wife of William H. Nichols died at the family home, 410 S. Water Street at 5 o'clock Saturday morning. Death was caused by cerebral hemorrhage and came unexpectedly. Mrs. Nichols was a native of Niles, Michigan and was born Nov 18, 1875, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brunk. She was a member of the Lafayette Christian Church and had been a resident of Crawfordsville the past 3 years. Surviving besides the husband are: three brothers, Frank, Carl and Alfred Brunk all of NIles and two sisters, Mrs. Marie Hauk and Miss Mary Brunk also of Niles. One son preceded her in death 3 years ago. Funeral services will be held at Utterback & Murphy Funeral Home here at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon and burial will take place at Lafayette whre the family lived for several years before coming to Crawfordsville. - typed by kbz
