Frank Nichols, 69, expired following a year's illness at 3:50
o'clock Tuesday afternoon at his home, 1016 Tuttle avenue. Mr.
Nichols' death was attributed to complications. The deceased was
born Aug. 15, 1865, near Whitesville, the son of Samuel and Lita
Nichols. He was married Aug. 15, 1895 to Nettie Zachery. Mr.
Nichols was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Surviving, besides the widow, are five daughters, Mrs. Mabel
Summers, Mrs. Clidie Hedley, Mrs. Ada Todd, Mrs. Helen Michaels
and Mrs. Esther Morgan, all of this city; two sons, Elijah
Nichols and Everett Nichols, both of this city, and one sister,
Mrs. Flora Weliever, of Lafayette. The funeral services for Mr.
Nichols will be held at the Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Claude Ward,
pastor of the Church, in charge. Burial will be in the Masonic
