Ladoga, Ind, May 7 -- William H. NICHOLS who suffered a stroke
of paralysis Friday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Henry
Vancleave is resting better today and it is hope he may recover. Mrs.
Nichols is 81 and formerly lived at Russellville since the death of his
wife some months ago, however, has made his home with his daughter. When
he first suffered the stroke it was feared that it would prove fatal
because of his advanced age but since Saturday his condition has
gradually improved and it is not believed he is out of danger. The whole
right side is affected.
