Charles E. Northcutt, 74 of 112 W. Spring Street, died Friday morning
in Culver Hospital. He had been in failing health for some time. He was
employed many years at Mid States. A son of William T. and Clara Ella
Caldwell Northcutt he was born in this city Nov 28, 1895. He was married
oct 14, 1921 to Cecil May Charters, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include 5 daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Routh; Mrs. Mary Katherine
Hart, Mrs. Aileen Turpin; Mrs. Betty Ruth Pitman; and Mrs. Caroyn Sue
Alexander; four sons, Robert, Eddie Carl, Fred and Jimmy; two brothers,
Orville and Walter of Crawfordsville, a sister Mrs. Mae Wilhite of
Crawfordsville and 24 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral
rites will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home
with Rev. Robert Shotts officiating, burial in Waynetown Masonic
Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Sunday. - kbz
