Nelson - Ira Earl

Ira Earl Nelson, 86, of 1112 W. Market St., a former employee of Crawfordsville Casket Co., died early today in Culver Hospital. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mr. Nelson was born in Tennessee on Aug. 4, 1890, a son of Ira and Elizabeth Nelson. He was married to Viola Ballinger. Surviving are two brothers, Thomas of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and Jerry of Morristown, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. – jlr
