M.E. "Swede" Nelson of 735 Mondego Place, Thousand Oakes, Calif., a former resident of Crawfordsville, died unexpectedly Tuesday of a heart attack while at work. Mr. Nelson was a resident of Crawfordsville until 1959. He was a 1948 graduate of Wabash College and was associated with Lambda Chi fraternity. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Barnhill Nelson; two daughters, Jill and Jane, of the Los Angeles area; two sons, John and Andy, at home; a grandchild; and brother-in-law, Jim Barnhill of 811 Sugar Tree Road. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.--waw
