Mrs. Mabel Nelson died suddenly at her home in Veedersburg on Monday evening about 5:45 of a heart attack. Mrs. Nelson was a native of the Veedersburg community and was prominent in the work of the EUB Church where she had served as pianist and teacher for 40 years. She was born Oct 6, 1890 at Veedersburg the daughter of Thomas and Sarah Clark Fishero. She married Dec 24, 1912 Ralph Nelson who survives. Also suriving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Keeling of Indianapolis and Miss Betty Nelson of Veedersburg; two sisters, Mrs. Tena Sering of Escondito, Calif and Mrs. Mary Wiles of Colorado Springs, Colo and a brother, Edward Fishero of Veedersburg. Funeral services wer eheld Thursday afternoon at Veedersburg EUB Church with the Rev. Samuel Pritchard and the Rev. Robert Todd officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery with the Fishero Funeral Home in charge. - kbz
