Nelson - William Henry

RACCOON – William Henry Nelson, 76, a florist for Wilson Brothers Floral Co., Inc., died Wednesday in Putnam County Hospital at Greencastle. He was a member of Parkersburg Christian Church and Modern Woodsmen of America. Born Jan. 20, 1900, in Kentucky, he was the son of James Franklin and Darthula Issac Nelson. He was married to Elva Wilson. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Bill, of Amo; three brothers, Fred of Roachdale, Bradford of California and Harry of Ladoga; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Griswold of Illinois and Mrs. Martha Bangs of Arizona; and two grandsons. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Perkins Funeral Home at Roachdale with the Rev. Loren Hetrick officiating. Burial will be in Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
