Newhall - Julia Scott

Lafayette Call: Mrs. Julia A. Newhall, residing at the corner of Park Avenue and Kossuth Street, died at 10 o’clock this forenoon from a complication of diseases, aged 51 years, leaving a husband and three children.
Deceased was a member of Trinity M. E. Church. She was a loving wife and mother, and her death will be greatly regretted. The funeral will take place from the residence at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon, Dr. C. B. Wilcox officiating. Interment will be in Greenbush Cemetery.
Mrs. Newhall is a sister of Uriah, William W., Samuel, George, John and Milton Scott and Mrs. Murray Hills of this city, and Mrs. Tom Bell, of Terre Haute. These relatives went to Lafayette on Wednesday to attend the funeral. Mrs. Newhall was quite well known in this city and has many friends here. - s
