Forest Newkirk Expires In Home- Forest Henry Newkirk, 80, a life resident of the New Ross community, died Friday morning at the Westbrook Nursing Home where he had been a patient since Sept. 1. He had been in failing health since March 1958. Born Nov. 8, 1878 near New Ross Mr. Newkirk was the son of Henry H. and Hannah Newkirk. He had never married. Survivors include two nephews, Fred Norman of Venice, Fla., and Clyde Newkirk of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bright Funeral Home, with burial at the Harshbarger Cemetery near Ladoga. Rev. Darrell E. Luther, newly appointed pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz

Funeral Services Held for Forest H. Newkirk- Funeral services for Forest Henry Newkirk were held Saturday morning at the Bright Funeral Home. Rev. Darrell E. Luther, pastor of the Nazarene Church, officiated. Curtis E. Bright played organ selections. Burial was in the family lot in Harshbarger Cemetery near Ladoga. Mr. Newkirk, 80, died Friday morning at the Westbrook Nursing Home where he had been a patient since Sept. 1. He was a resident of New Ross most of his life. - kbz
