Crawfordsville, April 22 – David Newlin, 74 was found dead on the floor of his home at Smartsburg, near here by a neighbor who had gone there to take Newlin some refreshments from the Smartsburg school where festivities had been held in connection with graduation exercises. Ill health was believed to have led Newlin to take his life with a gun.
