Newlin - Elizabeth Moore

Smartsburg Jan 26 - Mrs. William Newlin, fifty-nine years old died at her home in Smartsburg at a few minutes before nine Monday night after a brief illness with pneumonia. Her death was sudden, her illness lasting but a few days. She is survived by her husband and seven children, William, Frank, Fred, Clarence, Alva, Mrs, Myrtle Goble and Mrs. Olive York. Three brothers, Sherman Moore, of this city, Milton Moore of Smartsburg, and Asa, of Illinois and two sisters, Mrs. Belle Anderson, of Missouri, and Mrs. Ida Lane of Lima. Ohio, are also living. Mrs. Newlin had resided nearly all her life in the community where her death occurred. Funeral services will be held from the Smartsburg church at ten Wednesday morning. Burial will be in Masonic cemetery here. - thanks to Kim H
