Newnum - Glenwood Wilson

Glenwood Wilson Newnum, was born April 3, 1916 in Fountain County, Indiana one and one-half miles east of Yeddo, Indiana and departed this life Sept 10, 1940, age 24 years 5 months and 7days. He had been in ill health for a short time but serious only one day. He was the son of Harvey and Daisy Smith Newnum. With the exception of about six years which was spent in Illinois all of his life was lived in this vicinity. He was an employee of the Nickle Plate RR at Cayuga. He was a true and helpful friend and will be missed by all whom had known him. He leaves to mourn his loss the mother and father, four sisters, Olive Rayphole of Watseka, Ill; Laveta, Catherine and Martha at home, also one brother, Junior at home and a host of friends and relatives. - kbz
